SOIK Corporation is a company committed to innovating health services in Africa. It focuses on digitizing health structures. To expand its activities, it is seeking a MIDWIFE

Tasks:

- Plan, organize, and ensure the execution and supervision of all prenatal health activities and obstetric care in close collaboration with other health facility staff.

- Coordinate and evaluate the referral system for pregnant women to receive further medical assessment, to effectively manage risks related to maternal mortality.

- Assist and train midwives and traditional birth attendants in FoSAs.

- Develop a monthly supervision plan in the FoSAs of supported health zones and adapt Terms of Reference to the needs of each mission.

- Collaborate with other staff to participate in the training/retraining of community health workers.

- Participate in reports related to the facilities in the project area and monthly reports in accordance with guidelines, to obtain updated information on the project's daily activities and assist in decision-making.

- Collect and analyze information and data to assess the health status.

The tasks listed above are not exhaustive, and the supervising midwife may be required to assume other responsibilities as part of her duties. This job profile is subject to change based on needs or program development.

Qualifications:

- Recognized midwifery qualification.

- Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) or higher in nursing, public health, health institution management, or other related fields.

- At least 5 years of experience as a midwife.

- Experience with an international NGO in the DRC is an advantage.

- Organizational and strategic and operational planning skills, listening skills, teamwork spirit, dynamism, and initiative-taking ability.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Ability to conduct training in maternal health.

- Interest in SOIK Corporation's areas of intervention.

- Proficiency in computer tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Excellent writing skills in French.

- Good command of English.
