Thanks to the financial and technical support from the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM) of Japan, SOIK has made a significant contribution to the initiative led by the Directorate of Healthcare Institutions and Partnership (DESP) of the MINISTRY OF PUBLIC HEALTH, HYGIENE, AND PREVENTION GENERAL SECRETARIAT, in developing a document defining the required specifications for public healthcare facilities in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
This document, a result of the collaboration between DESP and SOIK, aims to clarify the standards and technical specifications that public healthcare facilities should meet, thereby facilitating the introduction of medical equipment suited to the Congolese medical environment.
This initiative will enhance the capacity of public healthcare institutions in the DRC by establishing clear specifications for the required medical equipment.
The implementation of this document will enable public healthcare facilities to introduce equipment and medical devices that adhere to appropriate standards, thereby contributing to the improvement of healthcare services provided to the Congolese population and strengthening the efficiency and quality of public healthcare institutions.
This collaboration between DESP and SOIK, with the financial support of NCGM, will support the enhancement of healthcare quality and accessibility in public healthcare facilities in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It will enable more individuals to benefit from necessary medical care and contribute to building a healthier society.
This program is funded by“Projects for Global Growth of Medical Technologies, in 2023”conducted by the National Center for Global Health and Medicine under the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Japan.
